Senior Leadership Team
Chris has more than 35 years experience across several industry sectors predominantly in the engineering sector. His primary focus in each has been leading and developing customer solutions and international growth coupled with organisational cultural change. Whilst his early career was in the chemicals and packaging sectors, for the last 20 years Chris has held CEO and President roles in engineering focused businesses in the UK, Asia Pacific and US. For the last 15 years Chris has been at the helm of several companies in the upstream offshore energy industry, both Oil & Gas and Offshore Renewables. More recently, he has been Group CEO of a private equity backed business centred on the subsea construction sector and CEO of a Venture Capital backed Tech Startup.
Chris has lived and worked in many different countries: New Zealand; Australia; Papua New Guinea; Singapore; USA and the UK and has led engineering projects worldwide. He has specific subsea engineering experience in North and South America, Asia Pacific, India and Europe and has served on the board of several companies in the UK, India and Singapore.
Finbar is an experienced Human Resources Director with over 15 years’ global HR experience across a range of industries. Finbar has significant experience in change management, employee relations, employee engagement & Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. A trained coach with ICF Finbar is passionate about creating and developing high performing and inclusive teams.
Colm is a chartered Chemical Engineer with over 30 years’ experience. Starting from a technical background he has spent the last 20 years in the commercial area looking after Sales, Marketing and Business Development across a wide range of industrial companies in the facilities, utilities and environmental services sectors. He has a keen focus on listening to client’s needs and working with them to produce a sustainable solution moving forward. He has particular expertise in the Industrial B2B sector, having worked extensively with clients in the Pharma, Life Sciences, Food and Beverage sectors.
Management Team
Dave Cotterell is a senior Mechanical & Energy Engineer with a long career specialising in Energy Efficient and Decarbonisation Projects, Design, Audits & Consulting. With a strong background in System & Process Design and over 15 years’ of experience, Dave has successfully Designed & Built hundreds of energy efficient solutions for complex technical challenges. He is well-versed in a variety of industries and across the globe.
Marc O’Halloran is a long-standing member of the Management Team at EM3. With a background in electrical engineering and certification as a Project Management Professional, he brings over 10 years of experience in leading, designing, and delivering energy-efficient projects. Marc excels at translating clients’ energy and climate challenges into practical service deliverables.
His passion for the continuous development of his team, coupled with his focus on engineering operational excellence, provides enhanced value to our clients across EM3’s global operations.
Jimmy O’Sullivan is an experienced energy consultant specialising in unlocking energy efficiency and enabling decarbonisation for the industrial sector. Jimmy has over 10 years experience, kicking off his career as a design engineer with a focus on energy efficiency; setting the foundations of becoming an experienced energy engineer and consultant.
Jimmy has worked on a broad array of projects ranging from energy audits, climate action strategies, ISO50001, energy modelling, renewable gas, and more. He is well versed across the energy spectrum from supply side to demand side.
Jimmy leads a team of dedicated energy engineers across an array of energy and climate action projects for numerous clients.
Shane Marren is a Senior Energy Consultant with 8 years’ experience in Industrial Energy Management & Efficiency. As a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) with the Association of Energy Engineers, Shane has experience in large industrial energy audits and developing carbon reduction strategies, primarily in the Biopharmaceutical, Medical Device and Food sectors. Shane has a strong working knowledge of industrial utility and facility systems as well as Project Management experience delivering decarbonisation and energy efficient solutions on client sites.
James Dooley is a Team Lead for the Projects Operation known for his accurate and focused approach. With a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Efficient Design & Industry Experience, James leads a diverse team of Engineers & Projects Managers to deliver Efficient, Sustainable and Reliable Technical Solutions for our customers. His ability to understand our client’s needs and create lasting partnerships set’s him apart.
As US Regional Lead, Aoife Bourke, who is based in Chicago, is tasked with overseeing the delivery of energy consulting services to large industrial clients in North America. Her primary focus is helping clients achieve their climate and sustainability goals.
With an Energy Systems Engineering degree, and Certified Energy Auditor credential, she is well placed to identify and implement energy efficiency opportunities and promote continual energy improvement for her clients.
Graciano Tornero, an accomplished Senior Energy Consultant, leads as a regional head for Iberia and LATAM, driving innovative initiatives in energy efficiency and climate action. With a steadfast focus on client-centric solutions, Graciano specializes in delivering strategic and tailored approaches for diverse industries, notably Pharma, Biopharma, Food, Dairy and Nutrition sectors among others. His leadership ethos revolves around nurturing teams and developing their acumen to comprehensively understand clients’ energy and climate challenges. Through his client-oriented strategies, Graciano ensures that teams are equipped with the necessary expertise to analyze, recommend, and implement optimal energy solutions.
Katie has a wide range of experience in business development, sales, marketing and customer success and has implemented successful sales and marketing strategies, achieving revenue forecasts. She joined EM3 at the beginning of 2023 having previously worked in the area of Environmental, Health & Safety software solutions for large industrial organisations operating in highly regulated industries. Katie brings professionalism, energy and creativity to the EM3 team. With a Masters in International Business and over 15 years’ of experience, Katie strives to drive business growth by achieving excellent results and generating long-term value for both our clients and our organisation.
Paula Holton is working as HR Lead in EM3 for 3 years having started as Business Planner. Paula has been involved in EM3 projects such as Engineers Ireland CPD accreditation, as well as supporting talent recruitment, onboarding and learning & development for EM3 colleagues.
