Position: HSQE Administrator
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HSQE Administrator to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety within the organisation and ensuring the well-being of our employees and maintaining a safe working environment. This position will also play a leading role in ensuring that the company QMS is being adhered to across all departments in the company. This position will report to the Sr. HSQE Advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to projects as required and ensure compliance with EM3 safety management system and contractors documentation.
- Develop and implement Quality Health and Safety Policies.
- Ensure policies are communicated effectively to all employees and contractors.
- Play a key role in developing & upgrading the QMS.
- Carry out audits and track closeout of any non-conformances.
Health and Safety:
- Assist the operations team with developing health and safety plans.
- Conduct safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards with the assistance of HSQE Advisor.
- Liaise with project teams to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Create AF1/AF2 as required.
- Develop health and safety presentations and roll out to employees.
- Prepare RAMS for operations/site visits as required.
Quality:
- Assist in upgrading & developing the company’s QMS.
- Develop internal audit templates for all departments.
- Develop and review standard operating procedures
- Carry out regular internal audit’s across all departments.
- Log internal audits on the QMS register and dashboard.
- Maintain the company QMS register.
- Assist with the development of SOP’s as required.
- Assist with the development of Internal Audit’s template as required.
Document Control:
- Maintain the company document register.
- Maintain the SOP & policy registers.
- Ensure any changes to templates are approved via the approved process.
Training :
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on quality, health and safety. procedures, policies, and practices.
- Deliver training to all new employees on both the Safety Management System and the Quality Management System.
- Roll out care training for all new and current employees.
- Assist with delivering the Care program with all employees.
Display Screen Equipment / Visual Display Unit Assessment
- Attend a DSE VDU instructor course.
- Carry out VDU for remote workers
Emergency Preparedness:
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Coordinate and conduct regular drills to test the effectiveness of emergency procedures.
Communications:
- Establish effective communication channels for reporting HSQE concerns.
- Promote a safety culture through regular communication and awareness campaigns.
Qualifications / Skills:
- B.A level 8 Honours degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or similar preferred).
- 0-2 years experience working in a Health and safety role.
- In-depth knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations and international standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Full Irish Driving Licence
